Our owner & head stylist, Apryl, first dreamed up our salon as a little girl getting her hair braided on the beach in The Bahamas.

At just 16, she got her cosmetologist license and started her career as a hair stylist. After 19 years of perfecting her craft, she was ready to take the leap and make her childhood dream a reality.

Thus, The HairSollutionz Studio was born!

The studio is an upscale salon that caters to a wide range of clientele - all ethnicities, all genders - and services all hair types and textures. Our team is all about cutting-edge skills, next-level artistry, quality service, and good vibes. If you have a hair problem, we have the solution. No more bad hair days!

Apryl has been a licensed cosmetologist for 19 years. She's a highly skilled and creative stylist who offers a wide variety of services for all hair types and textures. Not only does she do it all, but with her therapeutic jokes, love and comforting for each client, she guarantees a stellar experience every time. Apryl stays up-to-date on the latest trending styles. She loves to educate her clients and guide them through the entire styling process. Yolanda Wonsom

Yolanda is our braiding queen. She has been doing hair for 23 years now. She has enjoyed doing hair since she had her daughter in 1997. Her daughter's hair was long so she always wanted braids. As she got older, Yolanda started doing other children’s hair and eventually adults, too. She enjoys the fact that she can insert her creativity into braiding styles. Yolanda specializes in knotless braids, so book with her today!

Aleyana Idore

Don't let the babyface fool you. Aleyana is the youngest member of our team, but she is fiercely talented. She started doing hair as a high school freshman. Four years later, she's gone pro. She takes pride in perfecting her craft. Aleyana feels that styling is her God-given talent and she just wants to share it with others. She specializes in braids, soft locs, and butterfly locs.

Pops

Brian known to all as (POPS) the one and only. He is a dedicated business partner who works alongside his exceptionally talented daughter, Apryl, at The HairSollutionz Studio. With his keen eye for detail and passion for the industry, Pops ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. His commitment to excellence and his ability to handle any challenge that comes his way makes him an invaluable asset to the team. Kayla Monét  @locs.of.confidence

Kayla Monét is one of our loc specialists. She does it all -- crochet, interlocking, starter locs, retwists, loc repair, microlocs, loc styles, and more! She infuses confidence and creativity into all her work. She takes the greatest pride in her clients feeling joyful, confident, and empowered through their crown!

Charnee

Charnee first met Apryl as a client and now has become an employee at The Hair Sollutionz Studio, working along side some of Maryland's BEST! With an eagerness and passion to learn, she  is beginning her journey as a natural hairstylist to include knottless braids, locs, and silk presses. Charnee's drive and passion to become just as great as her colleagues will surely have you leaving the salon satisfied and greater than when you first arrived.

Divini-Loryn

Divini-Loryn first discovered her passion for hair when she was six years old and her love for it has only grown since then. Through her friendly and compassionate spirit, she loves to help others bring out their creative flare with various styles as they embrace their natural beauty. Though she is still young, Divini-Loryn looks forward to building a career as a Natural Hair Specialist, helping happy clients achieve healthy hair!
